Awesome to see Jay's interview on hypebeast, @5andadime was a pioneer in the East Village of SD, and helped inspire us to open up in the neighborhood back in the day, we take a lot of pride in our community because of guys like Jay and his crew who were willing to take risks and had the vision and follow through to persevere. Independent businesses like 5&ADime don't get enough credit for helping build the fabric and identity of our neighborhoods, and saving them from digressing into a commodified "chainville" so thanks for being you @5andadime it's been a beautiful struggle.
