Where to Find Us at Tales Of The Cocktail 2013
This year a few of us from the various spots will be heading down to the Big Easy for the annual Tales of the Cocktail festival. Today RSVPs went live for Juniperlooza, Beefeater & Plymouth Gin’s ever evolving Bartender’s Breakfast event. Our own Erick Castro of Polite Provisions will be doling out tasty drinks to all of the partygoers alongside CH alumni Brian Prugalidad, Eric Johnson, Trevor Easter, plus tons of other great cocktail personalities from around the country. The event takes place Saturday July 20th at 11:30 PM, RSVPs are required to attend.
But that’s not all. Erick & a few members of his team will be representing Polite Provisions at the annual Bare Knuckle Bar Fight on Friday July 19th at 10 PM. This 1,000 attendee event is judged by a panel on how well the 7 competing bars churn out quality cocktails in a hectic high volume environment.
The groups will be using the spirits of the 86 companies spirit portfolio (Fords Gin, Cana Brava Rum, Aylesbury Duck Vodka and Tequila Cabeza), and the Mezcals of Del Maguey. Last year we waited through an ENORMOUS line to get into this event, so if you’re planning to come show support and enjoy tons of delicious drinks, then we’d suggest heading down early.
